Amazon wanted a scalable solution to present product information in a more premium, engaging way, to help drive sales for key categories. The solution would need to work for thousands of product SKUs, all with their own branded packaging, photography and colour palettes.

My approach was two-fold. First, I designed a set of infographic templates and graphic elements to quickly convey the most important product details and features, in a way that was clear and visually appealing – while also working harmoniously with different brands and product images.

I then developed an automated workflow to create an unlimited quantity of these infographics, using Data Merge. The system accurately pulled the requested product photography, then generated the infographics using only the relevant graphical elements and icons for each product, finally batching and labelling the product files to be provided back to Amazon.
